  The sausage gravy and biscuits; lack sausage; and is very over peppered. And has the texture of over peppered wallpaper paste. They are very stingy with sausage in the paste; and the biscuits are very under cooked.
  There patty melt; was very bland. Not seasoned at all. The sauteed onions were slightly cooked and very crunchy; not sauteed at all. The bread which was supposed to be RYE; was very obviously white bread thrown into a toaster; and was over oiled and soggy. And left a bitter after taste in my mouth. The french fries were okay. While the service was decent; the food itself I wouldn't even feed to my dog. A once hidden gem of Marion Ohio; has lost its glimmer and has become a lump of coal.

  The food is decent but being a small family owned and operated business sometimes service and supplies are lacking. On my current visit the waitress was new, first day on the job, and with no trainer and no help. Being new she wasn't equipped to handle the lunch rush to properly serve the needs of the customers.
  
  Of note they could be a little better with planning supply orders. They seem to run out of many staples like pancake syrup, bagels, and such. Better planning should avoid this.
